My name is Lorinda Stephens. I am hard-of-hearing and a single mother of two beautiful children. I graduated from Finney High School in Detroit, Michigan in 1992. I have worked different types of jobs in my lifetime. Since then I decided I was ready to go back to school and do something meaningful with my life. I want to achieve in something that will make a difference in my life.
My hobbies are reading good books, going to the movies, and playing and downloading new games on the computer. My favorite website is pogo.com because it has a lot of different games that I can play and I have met a lot of people at that site.
I am attending Kaplan University my major is Applied Science in Computer Information System. I started in May of 2009. I am going to take it slow by only going for my associate degree. I have two classes at a time because I do not want to overwhelm myself by doing too much. I have not decided what I want to do when I graduate from college but whatever I choose it will be permanent.
